A few days ago a local girl was at the Mount Airy livestock auction, she came acrost a starved, sick,weak horse. He was to weak to stand up. The owner of the horse was kicking and beating the horse trying to make him stand up. The girl begged the owner to stop beating the horse and then convinced him to give her the horse.she got the horse home and got a vet to come and see the sick horse. He was starved and due hydrated.
